These songs are about feeling alone around other people. In No One Moved, that comes from my experience of being bullied while people around me looked away. Other songs follow the frustration and effort of trying to get through a difficult period.
Getting through it
There's anger in this record, but there are also songs about finding enough strength to keep going. I wanted to make room for both. Getting through something doesn't mean it stops affecting you.
The artwork shows a solitary figure against a city, with red and blue light breaking up the image. It follows the feeling of being surrounded by people without quite belonging.
