The songs deal with feeling left out even when you're there with everyone else. Sometimes it's hard to point to one thing that caused it. Small things build up, and after a while you realize how much they've affected you. That's a feeling I return to throughout the record.
A record still taking shape
The cover shows a damaged, partly erased portrait. You can still make out the person, which fits the feeling behind these songs.
I've kept this album open to new recordings as I finish them. The album page has the current tracklist, including additions made after it first appeared on the site. This post marks where it began.
