The title track of The Silent City now has its own video. The song is about a child taking the long way home through a crowded city, surrounded by people who never ask why he keeps walking.
The film follows him through rain-soaked streets painted like anime: a scramble crossing under towers of screens, a back alley strung with lanterns, a plaza where his face fills a giant screen. The billboards call him WANTED while the crowd looks straight past him, until police lights close in and every phone turns toward him. Every cut, light pulse and impact is timed to the song.
